'Purple Prince' is a small stature crabapple tree with rounded form and upright branches. The small stature makes this tree suited to plant under power lines. In spring the crabapple has bright red flowers and dark purple-green leaves that turn gold in fall. This tree has excellent resistance to the common diseases of crabapples. Plant in well-drained soil.
