Coffee Concert No. 1: Chione Woodwind Quintet

The Coffee Concert series features a wide array of chamber music, general admission seating and complimentary coffee and treats. January’s concert features Chione performs works by Valerie Coleman, Paquito D’Rivera, Kenji Bunch and Gary Powell Nash. This energetic classic and newer repertoire explores varied colors, themes and textures, from D’Rivera’s sultry “Aires Tropicales” to “Nash’s” compelling “Stop for Equity,” a brand-new work written for Chione.
