Urban Water Conservation Program

The City of Lakeville is continuing the Urban Water Conservation Program in 2021. This program, which began in 2018 through a partnership with the Vermillion River Watershed Joint Powers Organization (VRWJPO), offers local Homeowners - or Townhome - Associations cost-share to improve irrigation system watering efficiency after participating in an irrigation audit.

In 2021, the City and VRWJPO will fund eight to twelve irrigation audits and offer cost-share to participant Associations for efficiency improvements.

Should your Association be interested in participating, submit the Urban Water Conservation Program Application to Kelly Perrine at kperrine@lakevillemn.gov by April 9, 2021. Applications will be ranked and chosen Associations will be required to pay $50 to go towards the cost of the audit.

If you have questions about the program, contact Kelly Perrine, Environmental Resources Technician, at kperrine@lakevillemn.gov or 952-985-4524.
