Ritter Farm Park

Ritter Farm Park sits on an estimated 340 acres of historic farmland. Much of the park remains in its natural state with the addition of a variety of passive uses including an extensive trail system used for hiking, cross-country skiing and horseback riding. Ritter Farm Park is Lakeville's destination for nature enthusiasts of all ages and home to the Ed Mako Environmental Learning Center.

The City hosts a variety of nature education programs and special events at the park including Nature Detectives, Ritter Farm Park After Dark, bird banding and more! Get back to nature and explore everything Ritter Farm Park has to offer!

Trails

Our trails are open year round! Outdoor enthusiasts can explore the extensive 8.6 miles of walking and hiking trails at the park. A variety of trail loops offer routes suitable for park-goers of varying abilities, and some portions of the trail are suitable for horseback riding. In the cooler months, explore the trails on snowshoes or check out the cross-country ski and snowmobile trails at the park. There are 5.7 miles of cross-country ski trails and 2.6 miles of snowmobile trails.
